Title: Poems of the Dead (tentative title)
Editor: A.P. Fuchs
Publisher: Coscom Entertainment
Release Date: 2009
What we're looking for:
Zombie poetry, any length. However longer works (20 lines or more) are
preferred.
As for verse style, any is fine (i.e. free verse, rhyming, etc.). The
main thing to watch out for is the beat of poem and clarity. Don't
just rhyme words for rhyming sake and call it good even though the
poem doesn't make sense.
What rights do we want?
First print and electronic rights to your poem and exclusive rights
for 1-year after publication. After that you can resell it.
What we're not looking for:
No coarse language.
No reprints. New poems only, please.
Multiple submissions are allowed, but only up to three at any one time.
What we're creating here at Coscom Entertainment:
Poems of the Dead will be published as a trade paperback and as an eBook.
What you get in exchange for your poem:
1 cent a word and a contributor's copy. The paperback copy of the book
will be sent to you upon or shortly after the book's official release
date. Payment is based on final word count from the final edited copy
of the poem, so once your poem is ready for print, payment will be
sent to you via Paypal.
What to send to us:
Please send your poem(s) in standard manuscript format:
Courier 12pt, double-spaced, with any italicized words underlined.
Also include your name and contact information on the first page as
well as your name in the upper right corner of any subsequent pages.
Don't forget to also number your pages.
Please follow these guidelines to the letter. Submissions that don't
will be automatically rejected.
Where to send it:
Send all submissions as .doc or .rtf files via email to
coscomentertainment at gmail dot com with the words "Poems of the Dead
Submission" in the subject line.
When to send it by:
Reading period starts right away and ends when full. You will be
notified within two months of your submission regarding acceptance,
possibly sooner.

And tell of climes that boast unfading light,
I draw a darker scene, replete with gloom,
I sing the horrors of the House of Night.
