Ok I thought it was awesome. Good movie for Ledger to go out on. I still hate Bale as Batman. His little voice change is dumb. Eckhart did awesome as well. I really cant wait for the next movie. OK discuss!!

I really enjoyed this movie as well, I loved the constant action and it had lots of violence that was well done. Ledger was amazing. Quite the swan song performance.
I like Bale a lot, but one thing that bothered me in this performance was that he talked like he had a severe nasal congestion, and also had like, an underbite in that mask. His mouth in general bothered me.
I also hate how in the beginning, everyone is talking about how the Joker is "szchizophrenic" and that's why he's the way he is. It's a huge misconception about people with that disorder, they are almost never violent. As a general rule, schizophrenics are more afraid of you than you are of them.

The voice thing was a little weird, but I think the film was possibly the Best-Batman-Ever. I love Tim Burton's, and it's hard to compare them all because there are so many differences in approach, but this one was very well written and acted. H.L. was a fantastic Joker, and a fantastic nihilist villain in general.
I don't really remember the dwelling on his being schizophrenic, but maybe I'm just not sensitized to it. For my own diagnosis: psychotic, sociopathic, clearly. No clear symptom of schizophrenia that I saw.

I have some experience with real schizophrenics and I couldn't agree with you more. I enjoyed my time on the psych[e] ward, and you can take that for whatever you like.

I really liked this movie too. Very entertaining for a movie being longer than 2 hours. Kept me going. The joker was very disturbing but in a good way. As far as Bale... yeah loved him as American Psycho" but my fave Batman was Keaton. I wish that I saw this on the big screen. But still worthy.
