Yeah Kudo to you for doing it. I know I couldn't You would be surprised of what you could do if you had too. I am not too keen on a pediatric paient though and the unit does get patients belowthe age of 18 from time to time I have a friend whose specialty is pediatric hospice. She truly walks the earth as a goddess in my not even remotely humble opinion. I think hospice is such a preferable alternative to that which we offer to folks over at the ER or up on the floor. Codes are really ugly and violent and nothing like TV -- which I'm sure you know well. You're doing one of the most important jobs a human can do.

I absolutely love it so far, even with a few really sad/negative experiences. By next year I will be an ARNP and will more than likely stay with Hospice in that capacity. That will be cause for me to celebrate in 2010 !
