Let The Right One In was incredible. I want to see Last House On The Left again before I see the remake!

The Dogs of War
Christopher Walken! I love watching his face in this film. Like Peter O'Toole's face in Lawrence of Arabia (though Dogs... is not the film Lawrence... is by any stretch), it's so easy to understand why a director would want to capture it forever. Another movie that is questionably a horror film. I think this is my particular problem: If one has the horror response to horrible things happening in a film, is that film an appropriate topic for horror discussions? Corporate financed coup d'etat for the purpose of raping a country's resources are both horrible and, sadly, true! And you can't get much more "slasher" than all those amputations in Sierra Leone. It gives me something to think about.
Thank You, America: An Evening With George W. Bush
Different from what I expected and well worth the time. State sponsored coup d'etat for the purpose of raping a country's natural resources and settling Daddy's score is pretty horrible, too!
Emma
Antidote, pure and simple. Ewan!

We seen last house on the left last night, We havent see the orig yet, but we really enjoyed it, thought It was a little slow but the parts that werent slow made up for it. Whiel watching the movie you always have a few of those assholess talking and giggling at shit, but it was pretty a-maz za zing how dead silent the theater was during the infamous rape scene, you coulda heard a pin drop ( or my friend sit on her husbands bag of pop corn Side note: I would just like to say that (Garret Dillahunt)(krug) was great I honestly dont think that the could have casted him any better. he also has a great character on the sara conner chronicles.

Just watched this indie film called NBT: Never Been Thawed. It is hilarious!! Its about a lot of different things, but mainly about people who come together based on their love for collecting frozen dinners. It also involves making fun of a christian rock band and a deaf slacker. ToTootally random and hilarious. Too bad the writer/lead role hasn't done any other movies.
