Last night we watched Quicksilver Highway, from 1997. It is a movie adaptation of two short stories, one by Steve King and the other by Clive Barker. This movie is hysterically funny and knows it.... it's not supposed to be scary but does a great job making you laugh (especially "The Body Politic," the second story). Stars the timeless Christopher Lloyd and the guy who is in everything but you don't remember his name, Matt Frewer. You just don't get to see a pair of possessed toy chattering teeth kill people enough in today's culture. Too bad. Those teeth were sassy! Also, I will never forget the last scene in the second story with all the severed hands flying off the building. AWESOME! If you are bored, there's nothing on TV, and you don't have to pay too much to rent it, check this one out.
